OK, so how do we determine what makes the grade?

- Comparison: Testing isn’t enough. We need to know if what we’re testing is better than other products/services on the market. Therefore, we always look at competing products as part of our evaluation.
- Thinking like a customer: What might be a good fit for us, might not work for everyone. So when we perform our evaluations, we ask ourselves if there are certain demographics that will benefit from this product or service than we will. If so, then we’re happy to promote it, with the caveat that it’s not for everyone.
Let’s be clear, by not promoting everything under the sun, our short-term revenue expectations will be lower. That’s fine! We started this site because we value integrity, transparency and helping others above all else, and we’re not trading these core fundamentals for a few extra dollars.
